Katie and Zachary met in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2023. Their first date was at Suffolk Punch in Charlotte’s South End — one of Zachary’s favorite spots at the time — and it didn’t take long for them to realize they’d found something special.

Together they love traveling (especially anywhere with a beach), spending time with family, cooking at home, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.

In May 2025, Zachary proposed on the beach in Isle of Palms, a place that means so much to them. Their very first trip together was to the Charleston/Isle of Palms area in July 2023 for Katie’s birthday — so returning there for the engagement felt perfect. They can’t wait to celebrate their wedding surrounded by family and friends near Katie’s hometown.
